I suppose it's time for me to update this website again so you know I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth yet, and also to check in with everyone and say hi.

Are you all watching the elections? Geez, what a mess - and now we probably won't know for another week or so. I've been watching Yahoo for most of the night and their numbers, as reported by the Associated Press, seem to differ some from those of CNN. According to Yahoo, it looks like Bush will win Ohio and the re-election. But we will see.

The website for my comic strip ( [link] ) is coming along great and I'm happy to announce that I will most likely get picked up by a second newspaper in the very near future. That's exciting news, indeed. I also went ahead and set up a CafePress account ( [link] ), so I can sell spiffy OEC gear - and the proceeds from that will go to support [link] and to send care packages to deployed troops. That is, if there *are* any proceeds.

There's also a book planned for the near future that will most likely be published through [link], which seems like a pretty decent publishing service and is also home to the "Ricky's Tour" books. So that seems like a good choice. I don't have any kind of idea as to when the book will be done yet, though, so don't hold your breath.

As far as my return to Deviant Art is concerned, the jury's still out on that one. On one hand, I am really missing the community and the many friends I made here. On the other hand, there are still some people out there who have nothing better to do than to snoop around after someone who hasn't talked to them (and has no interest in talking to them) in two years. And honestly, I'd rather go and find a different place to hang out than have to bother with them.

Anyway, I won't get all long-winded. Just wanted to say hi, say I'm still alive, and ask what everyone's thinking about the elections.
